Terms and conditions for services provided by Covered Bridge Motor Werks

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of Covered Bridge Motor Werks, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Services Provided

Covered Bridge Motor Werks provides the following automotive diagnostic and repair services:

  • Engine diagnostics and performance analysis
  • Transmission diagnostics, service, and repair
  • Electrical system testing and repair
  • Brake system maintenance and repair
  • General automotive diagnostics and consultation
  • Preventive maintenance services

3. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your vehicle's condition and symptoms
  • Disclose any previous repairs or modifications to the vehicle
  • Make payment as agreed upon completion of services
  • Pick up your vehicle within 7 days of service completion
  • Follow any maintenance recommendations provided
  • Notify us immediately of any concerns or issues

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms include:

  • Payment is due upon completion of services
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
  • Diagnostic fees are non-refundable once diagnostic work begins
  • Any estimates provided are subject to change based on actual work required
  • Labor rates and parts costs are current as of the service date

5. Service Coverage

We stand behind our work with the following warranties:

  • Diagnostic services: 30 days from completion date
  • Repair work: 90 days or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first
  • Parts installed: Manufacturer's coverage applies
  • Service coverage does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, or accidents
  • Regular maintenance services: 30 days workmanship commitment

6. Liability Limitations

Covered Bridge Motor Werks' liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing conditions not related to our services
  • Damage resulting from customer neglect or misuse
  • Normal wear and tear after service completion
  • Loss of use of the vehicle during service period
  • Any consequential or indirect damages

7. Parts and Materials

Regarding parts and materials used in service:

  • New parts carry the manufacturer's coverage
  • Used or rebuilt parts will be clearly identified
  • Customer may supply their own parts (labor rates may apply)
  • We will inform you before using aftermarket or non-OEM parts
  • Defective parts replaced under service coverage will be returned to manufacturer

8. Customer Property

We exercise reasonable care with customer property. However, we are not responsible for personal items left in vehicles. Please remove all personal belongings before service.

9. Service Records

We maintain detailed records of all services performed. These records are kept for your convenience and may be accessed for service coverage claims or future service needs.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Hampshire.

12. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Customers will be notified of any material changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
